OregonSaves is a new initiative that enables Oregon employees to contribute to a Roth IRA through a paycheck deduction. Employers are responsible for reporting new employee info to the state and accommodating the paycheck deduction. The employer has no fiscal responsibility in the plan, so they are not responsible for managing invested funds nor do they match the employee's contribution.
If your Oregon business has 100 or more employees and doesn't offer a retirement plan, you are required to register your company for OregonSaves by November 15, 2017.
